About Karen
With over 30 years of dedicated experience supporting children and families, Karen offers compassionate, person-centred counselling and psychotherapy, as well as expert clinical supervision.
Karen’s approach to therapy and client work
Karen draws on a range of approaches to meet each individual’s needs and adapts her work in a flexible, responsive way.
Karen has a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, and families who are managing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Her calm, respectful manner and deep understanding of child development create a safe space where children and young people feel listened to and supported; helping them understand their experiences, develop self-awareness, and build the confidence to move forward.
Whether working one-to-one or in partnership with families, Karen’s goal is to support meaningful change in a way that is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on each person’s strengths.
If any of this resonates with you, Karen is happy to talk about how you might work together.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling to cope, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to work through it on your own.
If you are ready to take that first step, Karen is here to walk alongside you.
Karen offers both online and in-person sessions in Inverness
